SEVERN TAP DANCER, foaled 2004, (Lianna's Dapper Dan x Stonecroft Storm Dancer by Ardmore Artist ) is the last foal of her mother whom I got from Marsha Himler. Storm Dancer, affectionately known as Peaches, was out of Severn Willful, a Severn Storm daughter. Willful was Marsha's premier broodmare for many years and was a granddaughter of *Criban Waaf , imported to Severn Oaks in 1948. Dancer is leased currently to Molly Ford and has had a very cute bay colt in 2008 by her young stallion Severn White Tie 'n Tails (Severn Merrymaker LOMx Alliance Designer Bow LOM. SEVERN SEA BREEZE
Breeze, foaled 2005 (Lianna's Dapper Dan x Charmsley Simoon by Severn West Wind LOM) had a rough start in life. A red bag baby, she was saved only because Sue Ward happened to be at the farm that afternoon and was able to deliver her. Then, she was a failure to thrive baby (reason unknown) that we supplemented with foalac for about 3 weeks. She has been fine since and as a yearling won the Welsh division of the Maryland Pony Breeders Futurity. Photo taken at that show.
SEVERN BLUEBELL, a grey filly foaled 2005 (Lianna's Dapper Dan x Severn Pansi LOM by Severn West Wind LOM ) was Pansi's 3rd leg for her Dam LOM. This sweet filly is a keeper as I have only one other daughter of her mother who is now 23 years old (2008) She is one of 4 fillies by Dapper Dan (also including Tap Dancer , Sea Breeze and Hollyberry Bow) that I anticipate will represent Dapper Dan's legacy at Severn Oaks. Bluebell has been bred to Farnley Tiber for 2010.
SEVERN GLEE, a bay filly foaled 2007 (Severn Merrymaker LOM x Severn Joyful by Severn West Wind LOM) is currently a keeper because her mother is 23 years old (2008) and I have no other daughters. Glee is shown here at the MPB yearling futurity where she was second place in the Section A Welsh Division.
SEVERN CIRCE, grey filly foaled 2007 (Severn Merrymaker LOM x Severn Olympia by Severn West Wind LOM). This filly was the winner of the MPB Welsh A Futurity Division in 2008. She has a very sweet disposition and should be tall like her mother - at least 12 hands. In 2009, Circe was WPCSA 4th place junior filly!
